Atelier Traditional Matte Varnish

Atelier water-based varnishes are non-toxic and can be used as topcoat for acrylic paintings. Provides a non-removable coating when cured.

• Traditional medium – water resistant when cured

• For best results, apply an isolation layer or sealing coat prior to varnishing

• Can apply chroma’s solvent finishing varnish on top for a removable layer

• Use as a protective topcoat on acrylic paintings

• For best results, apply an isolation coat (fast medium/fixer or binder medium) prior to varnishing

• Brush or spray on with fine mist water sprayer
